Jewelry Care Guide

  • Cleaning: Clean your jewelry with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove dirt, oils, and residue that can dull its shine.
  • Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Keep your jewelry away from harsh chemicals such as chlorine, perfumes, and household cleaners.
  • Store Properly: Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place, preferably in a tarnish-resistant jewelry box or bag to prevent oxidation. Non-tarnish strips can be added to a jewelry storage to prevent tarnishing.
  • Remove Before Activities: Take off your jewelry before engaging in activities that involve harsh chemicals, swimming, or vigorous physical activities to avoid scratches and damage.
  • Gentle Washing: If your jewelry needs more than a gentle wipe, use a mild soap and water solution. Be sure to dry thoroughly afterward to prevent water spots.
  • Polishing: Use a polishing cloth or a specific metal cleaner to restore shine. (e.g. Brasso for brass jewelry). Avoid using abrasive materials, as they can scratch the surface.
  • Check for Loose Stones: Periodically check for loose stones or any signs of damage. If you notice any issues, take your jewelry to a professional for repair.
